Sober Coaching is where the actual healing of the client begins. Sober Coaching is very effective short term and impacts upon the quality of the client’s lifestyle in the long term. It’s where the magic of recovery occurs. Sober Coaching takes people through their own journey of self discovery and is highly effective for people with drinking and drug problems that don’t require a detox but do need some outside help learning how to stay sober permanently.

Miracles happen through Sober Coaching.
It’s the point where clients make serious and significant changes to their attitudes and behaviour. The therapeutic process we utilise is individually arranged around our own previously proven model of recovery and it’s desired outcome is to specifically improve the quality of someone’s life whilst they remain alcohol and drug free.

Since all clients are unique, so we’ve designed our own Sober Coaching Workbook that allows everyone the opportunity to discover their own patterns and strategies for living, and replace them with healthier, sober living ones. We use this Sober Coaching Workbook with all of our Sober Coaching clients because it’s been proven to be highly effective at creating permanent change and bring about recovery.

In face-to-face Sober Coaching sessions we can deal with all the specific situations and levels of crisis they may be encountering. We’re convinced that Sober Coaching is a very suitable solution for those who are limited by free time, but yet are still serious about changing their behaviours.

Face to Face Coaching

Sober Coaching can be delivered face to face or over a Webcam via Skype / FaceTime / Google HangOut over the Internet, or even telephonic as required.

Session Time

Sessions typically last from between 45 and 90 minutes and can even be as frequent as once or twice per day. We wouldn’t recommend less than once per week.

Residential Service

For those that require a detox or residential service, we can make recommendations and arrangements for this, continuing with Sober Coaching upon the completion of their respite.

Still sober thanks for the help and genuine care. Hi, my name is Dave and I am an extremely happy customer of Sober Services. After 18months of continually failing to stay sober for more than two months I was somewhat baffled to why this was. Most of the time all was well, I would get through the first couple of weeks full of confidence, and then out of the blue would find myself relapsing at times of stress or at social events. On speaking to a friend she suggested I contact Ian, so I did. On meeting Ian for the first time I immediately felt very comfortable and at ease in his company. A week later I was due to go on business abroad, these certain trips were always my most vulnerable times (airports, business meetings etc.) so I decided to give sober services a try. Ian picked me up promptly in the very early hours of the morning (in a very nice comfortable car) and drove me to Heathrow airport. We chatted all the way to the airport and I was made to feel at ease before boarding my flight. Upon my return Ian was again prompt and returned me home safely. A couple of weeks later I had to attend a family function, (these were always big trigger points for me), and I invited Ian to accompany me. Ian introduced himself as a friend and was welcomed by all members of my family, and again I returned home safe and sober…. Benefitted greatly from Ian’s input. We employed Ian to offer cocaine addiction consultancy and training to our leading lady – Zawe Ashton, so that she could play the part of a policewoman with a drug habit. Ian did so much more than help her understand how to act like a cocaine addict, but over a number of sessions he went on to make suggestions regarding the complete psychology and behavioural patterns of an addicted person, which positively impacted the complete credibility of the film.
